Today I had the pleasure of delivering this table and bench I've been working on for the past couple months. I love this build because it was the first table I've gotten to build with hardwood. It will last a lifetime! Featuring a 40'x78' tabletop made from rustic white oak, this table can fit up to 8 people for family gatherings.

I finished the top with a dark stain and sealed with a vinyl sealer and sprayed on conversion varnish. Another first for me. But this top is restaurant grade durable!

The base is painted using @anniesloanhome chalk paint and sealed with a clear wax and distressed strokes of dark wax. A technique that takes both patience and time. I used lap joints, dados and lots of glue for the build of this table. Filling holes with dowels and leaving the joints proud at the ends.

I love this job of mine and cant wait for the next project!
